A very interesting yacht is berthed next to HERMITAGE at the Lürssen yard in Rendsburg: TÜBINGEN is a 47m ancient minesweeper of the German Navy, built in 1957 at the Burmester yard and converted into a motor yacht for an Italian owner at the Neue Jadewerft. She still looks very much like the original Lindau class minesweepers. Carl Groll took fantastic aerial photos. |

28 March 2011:
Yesterday two tugs conducted the hull of an AMELS 177 Limited Edition westwards through the Nord-Ostsee-Channel. Olaf Eggert took photos in the Kieler Förde and Andreas Jens photographed near Rendsburg. It seems as if the hull had been constructed for Amels Holland by a yard in Gdynia, Poland. |

25 March 2011:
Today the new 84 m VALERIE (Project Firebird) was seen at the Lürssen yard in Rendsburg for the very first time. Carl Groll took the first photo. On Wednesday KAISER left the Abeking & Rasmussen yard near Bremen and went on her maiden voyage. Claus Schäfe took cruising shots near Bremerhaven. |
