28 December 2012	In consternation I learned about the death of Marc Paris, one of the world's greatest yacht photographers. As far as I heard, Marc died in a plane crash in Antalya, Turkey on 24 December. You will find more information on www.megayachtnews.com. Marc and I met a couple of times and discussed a possible cooperation. I was impressed by Marc's energy, devotion and photographic vision. Marc was always on the move, driven by an abundance of ideas. On 15 November I received the last e-mail from Marc. He concluded his mail with the sentence "Looking forward to have the pleasure to have a drink with you one of these days." I still cannot believe that we will never again be able to have a drink together. Cheers to you, Marc! You will live on through your groundbraking work! Peter Seyfferth

5 November 2012: M25 is a Tim Heywood designed 75m yacht which was under construction at the Cantieri San Marco in La Spezia. A few weeks ago the yacht left the Italian shipyard unfinished. The first port of call was Gibraltar and it was believed that the yacht would be taken to Northern Europe for completion. But what was supposed to be a short stop only turned out to be the yacht’s final destination. According to a report by the Dailymail, M25 is a project by Monaco Yachting and Technologies (MY&T), commissioned by Robert Tchenguiz. Apparently Tchenguiz was not happy with the progress of the yacht’s construction and sold the vessel. The buyer intended to bring the hull to another shipyard for completion. MY&T says that they requested Gibraltar police to impound M25. Giovanni Romero’s photos give you an idea of the design and the stage of built. APRIL FOOL, AUSTRALIS, KISSES.
